Cedar Dreams Songs by Bill Miller was selected the 47th Annual Grammy® Award Winner for Best Native American Music Album. Miller, a Mohican Native from northern Wisconsin is an award-winning recording artist, performer, songwriter, activist and painter. Raised on the Stockbridge-Munsee reservation, Miller was influenced as much by the music of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Neil Young as by that of his Mohican heritage. His album, Spirit Rain, brought him recognition at the 2000 Native American Music Awards. He received five NAMMYs. From his studio at his Nashville home, Miller maintains an active career as a painter. His work has been shown and sold in prestigious galleries around the country.
